Windmill approached Branch to reimagine how AC lives in the window. At the time, Windmill was a young startup focused on the Direct to the Consumer market, so reinventing the mechanics of the product wasn't practical. Instead, we set our sights on creating a product that is easy to install and beautiful enough to remain in your window all year round. Windmill draws its approachable silhouette from the soft furniture and the soft forms and textures that fill your room, while vents have been moved to the top surface for better circulation and a more approachable front surface. For those on the street, the back of the product is fully considered, too. A carefully designed pattern for ventilation hides sharp sheet metal edges and compliments the exterior architecture of any home.
